My passion is for Vets, especially WWII Vets. What they did for us all and what they had to do and see is difficult to imagine. Had the privilage to participate in a flight on C-53 D-Day Dolly of the CAF Inland Empire Wing with my friend Richard Habben. She is a plane that actually participated in the Normandy Paratrooper drop. The flyover was for the burial for a paratrooper that died in operation Dragoon in Aug 1944. His name was Private (Pvt.), Robert R. Gruwell. He was classified MIA for 78 years & was identified & returned home for burial last thurs in the Veterans cemetary at March ARB. Thank you for the Honor & Privilege to be part of this.
